Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University administration has decided to give relief to the martyrs and the families of the suicidal farming families. Students of such family will be exempted from the post of Tuition Fee and examination fees in the postgraduate departments. The university's management council approved the rule on Tuesday. It will be implemented from the next academic session, said the Vice Chancellor Dr. Siddharthinavinayak Kane said.

Farmers' suicide in Vidarbha has not stopped yet. Some of the farmers committed suicide are studying in the university. These students have to face various financial difficulties due to financial constraints. Student organizations demanded that all such fees be waived in the university. Besides, the soldiers become martyrs for the country. All have the duty to support their families. The proposal to waive the education and examination fees of the martyrs' children was provided to them by social awareness. It was discussed in a meeting of the Management Council held on August 10, 2017. A decision was taken that all the postgraduate departments of the university and the affiliated colleges would be waived for the martyred jawans or the children of suicides. The rules were prepared and presented before the management council for approval.

Education and examination fees will not be charged by these children in post-graduate departments. In the affiliated colleges, the examination fee will be waived, the Vice Chancellor said. Siddharth Vinayak Kane said.
