Nagpur : Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TIME) organized ‘MindQuest’, an inter-collegiate competition. The event provides a platform for students of various undergraduate colleges in Nagpur to showcase their presentation skills, creativity, knowledge, analytical skills and application of concepts and to compete. TIME is a leading Management Institutes in Central India that endeavours to encourage innovation in each sphere of student activity.

MindQuest consisted of two events –Presentation competition and Funny Promotional Video making competition . Under presentation, the participants were required to select one theme from the given options GST- A Boon or Bane, Digital Marketing - A paradigm shift in retail business, Automation- A threat to employment, Smart City- Need for the city development, Demonetization- It affected common man more than black money holder, Hindi Medium- A Movie Review, Social Media- It is affecting the social life of an individual, Restriction of fast food in educational institutions – A step towards a healthy youth. They were then required to make a power point presentation to the audience. The Promotional Video competition saw various funny videos very well directed and shooted, the product which the students took were shoe perfume, Hair Oil, Tele Pudka, Swatch vending machine, Fair & Lovely.

The event was promoted in various undergraduate colleges in Nagpur and nearby places, generating a huge response of entries from various participating college teams. This year the entries were from 8 new colleges. The judge for Presentation Competition were Dr. Jigisha Naidu, HOD of Commerce department, Hislop college, Ms. Deepika Kukreja from Acquarious Institute . Judge for Video Making was Mr. Sachin Phadkar, Former Assistant Director at zee Marathi & now into Digital Marketing. The teams made their best efforts to impress the judges with their knowledge and style and performed very well. Cash prizes were awarded to the winning teams as follows: 1st prize for ‘Presentation’ competition was won by Ms. Prachi Yerojwar, Apurv Humne & Ms. Anisha Nainane from Priyadarshini College, 2nd by Nazeen Zehra group from LAD college and 3rd by Kaplyani Paliwal from SFS college. Under the ‘Promotional Video Making’ category the 1st prize was won by Rohit Upadhyay & group from Academy of Broadcasting, 2nd by Aditi, Roshni, Vimal, Arshad from Sindhu Mahavidhyalaya, and 3rd by Sarang Gawlani & group.

Prof. Prerna Thakwan, Prof. Pramod Karambhe and Prof. Shruti Dhabale Thakare coordinated the event very well under guidance of Director, Dr. Lalit Khullar and Dean, Dr. Sanjay Kavishwar.
