Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Manila, Philippines, to join the ASEAN Summit. Participating in the 31st anniversary of the ASEAN Summit, where US President Donald Trump was also present. After joining the ASEAN Summit program, PM Modi reached the Philippines's International Rice Research Institute, where he inaugurated the Resilient Rice Field Laboratory. PM will also address the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit soon.
 
Tell us that PM Modi other than these conferences can hold a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump, Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Russia's Premier Dmitry Medvedev.

Apart from promoting regional trade here by Modi, there is also the possibility of Indian voting for global approach to tackling the growing challenges of terrorism and fundamentalism. Indian Ambassador to the Philippines Jaideep Majumdar said that during the ASEAN conference on Tuesday, there will be discussions on all the defense issues present in the region including the aggressive military tactics of the disputed South China Sea, North Korea's nuclear and missile testing.

This summit, which started in 1967, from the economics to cultural in the countries of South Asia, strengthened the relationship. The program was organized in Bali, Indonesia, before the summit.
