Engineer Vikas Sathya and his team of Mumbai have been awarded the Scientific and Engineering Award in the Oscars 2018 on Saturday. The team of four people was honored for the implementation of Concept, Design, Engineering and ShotOver Kawan Camera System in Beverly Hills Ceramani. Whose Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science has interpreted as Six Axis Stabilized Aerial Camera Mount.

Sathya said that after joining the media he joined the new company Shotover Camera System in Queenstown in 2009. Where he used to work on Ariel Mount. The reason for this company's launch in Queenstown was its natural beauty. Which attracts film directors and producers.

Sathya was born in Pune in 1967 and studied in Mumbai. He has a diploma from VPM Polytechnic Thane. He taught seven years in Pune's Cummins College of Engineering for Women, during which he was sent to Italy for a project with Fiat for three months. After which he got inspiration for embedded software technology.
