Nagpur : Mankapur police arrested three thieves and recovered stolen valuables worth  6 lakh along with four stolen Maruti cars. The accused had committed nine house-breaking thefts, and four car thefts in last six months. The accused are identified as Amar Sangole (21), a residence of Kolte Layout, Godhni, Akash  Akotkar (18), a residence of Baba Farid Nagar, Mankapur and Sunil  Solanki (20), a residence of Koradi Naka.  

Addressing a press conference, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone II Rakesh Ola informed that the accused were nabbed by the police on Thursday from Baba Farid Nagar. The accused had committed a theft at house of Rajashri Anil Wadekar at Plot No. 7, Gawande Layout, Baba Farid Nagar and stolen a booty worth 6 lakh. The accused kept the stolen booty in their house and it was recovered by the police. DCP Ola also informed that the accused were carrying so many keys to stole a Maruti car. “They were targeting only old model of Maruti car as its easy to break into the lock system of a car,” he said. SPI P Bhatkar, PSI Rathod and staff including Ravi Bhujade, Ankush, Ajay, Amol, Rajesh Kokate and others made the arrest.
