All India Vayusainik Camp 2017 for the entire Air wing NCC Directorates of India was held at Jodhpur from 23 Oct 17 to 03 Nov 17. A total of 36 cadets (27 boys and 09 girls) were selected from entire Maharashtra to represent the Maharashtra NCC Directorate at the prestigious camp.

 The aim of All India Vayusainik Camp was to check the proficiency of cadets in various NCC activities specific to the Air Wing. Competitions were held in many disciplines like aviation related subjects, .22 rifle shooting, Skeet shooting, Drill, Tent pitching/Line Area, Health & Hygiene and Aero modeling.

 Maharashtra directorate has done well in All India Vaysainik Camp 2017. Cadet/Sergeant Navin Singh won the Gold medal in .22 Rifles shooting. Cadet Shubham Talkhande and Cadet Pawan Borde bagged Silver medal in control line flying. Cadet Dhanashree Pokale bagged silver medal in Health and Hygiene. Cadet/Sergeant Jayesh Marathe bagged bronze in Health and Hygiene.

The felicitation ceremony for Maharashtra Directorate contingent was held at Royal Gondwana Public School, Shankarpur at Nagpur on 05 Nov 17. The cadets were felicitated with mementos by Group Captain VS Rana, Group Commander NCC Group Head Quarters Nagpur.
