The underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's property auction in Mumbai has begun on Tuesday. The base price for the auction of all properties has been kept at Rs 5.5 crore. The tender process of this auction was concluded on November 10. According to sources, nearly 10 investors across the country have applied for the auction, in which the Saifi Burhani Upliftment Trust (SBUT) has applied for three properties. The auction will start at 10 AM at the IMC Building, Churchgate. The auction will be organized under Smugler and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forefront of Property) Act 'Saffita'.

Dawood Ibrahim has 6 properties in Mumbai, which are being auctioned. It includes some 6 properties including AfroZ Hotel, Dambar Building and Shabnam Guest House. SBUT is working on the rehabilitation project in Mumbai's Bhindi Bazar. SBUT has filled tender for AfroZ Hotel, Shabnam Guest House and Dambar Building.

Explain that the Department of Revenue under Central Finance Ministry has given the information of the auction through advertisement. The Department of Revenue had sought tenders in the closed envelope for the auction on November 14. The reserve price for each of these properties is between 1 and 1.5 crore rupees. In this way their total base value is around 5 to 5 crore rupees. Those who attended the auction had to give their details to the SAFEMA or NDPSA department by November 10.

Hotel auctioned before
Hotel Ronak Afroz was also auctioned in year 2015, when former journalist Balakrishnan had filled the three million deposits after making a high bid and named it auction. However, the auction was canceled due to not getting the outstanding amount of 3.98 crore.

So placed base price
- The base price of double story building built in Bhindi Bazar is Rs.1.11 crore.

- The house value of Rupees 1 crore 18 lakh for the Hotel Ranak Afro built in Bhindi Bazar.

- The base price of a flat made in Pearl Harbor of Mumbai is 92 lakhs 69 thousand rupees.

- The base value of flats built in Mumbai's Yakub Street is Rs.15.55 million.
