Nagpur: With joint efforts, Railway Protection Force (RPF) seized liquor on board Dakshin Express at Nagpur Railway Station on Friday. Four women haling from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh who were transporting the contraband were also arrested.The cost of seized liquor, about 1502 bottles is put at Rs. 1.06 lakh. Constables Vikas Sharma and B S Yadav got tip off that liquor is being taken to Chandrapur through Dakshin Express. The RPF constituted a team consisting of Sub-Inspector KN Rai, SI H L Meena, SI Vidyadhar Yadav, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ram Niwas Yadav, constables Arjun,P G Ramteke, Nitesh Themke, Neelkanth Gore, besides staff of Local Crime Branch (Rly) Head Constable S M Gajbhiye, constable Zahid Khan, and Officiating Inspector of State Excise D P Warthi, Second Inspector Praveen Mohitkar, staff Milind Gaiwali and driver Subhash Shinde and took to searching the train after it arrived at Nagpur Railway station.
